Ahhh
. . . television. In the days before cable TV, few businesses could
afford the production of a television commercial and still have money
left over to buy air time. Now there's no excuse NOT to be on the tube.
Cable TV allows companies to advertise in their own communities with
little or no waste. They can target specific audiences, too -- such
as men, women, sports fans, educational, health, news and more.
Video cameras have come a long way and their clarity in video AND sound
allows for exceptional, affordable commercial productions. TV studios
now have digital editing equipment which makes piecing together images,
graphics and sound a "piece of cake."
The cost to produce a TV spot is now within the reach of virtually any
legitimate business.
So what's the big deal?
Someone's gotta write it. Prepare a storyboard. Direct it. Arrange for
voice talent or actors. Sit in the editing booth for hours to make sure
your 30 second spot is perfect.
You could go to one of the freelance videographers, or even the cable
company itself. What you'll get is a "safe" spot that looks
suspiciously like most everyone else's spot.

You
deserve creativity . . . and MARKETING
That's
what Crowley & Company brings into the picture. No, not a huge expense,
but vast experience in getting YOUR message out properly to your audience.
The same energy, intelligence and experience we expend to produce effective
direct mailers, print ads, brochures and other marketing pieces, we
put into every TV spot.
Oh, did we mention radio?
No media campaign is complete without radio as part of the mix.
You could go to the studio yourself, spill your guts out to the sales
and creative director (who probably also operates the equipment) and
hope they'll come up with something special.
Forget it.
What you'll get is 'Ron' or 'Rhonda Radio', blabbing words that remotely
sound like they may be referring to your business. You deserve better.
The radio station often provides their creative services for free. After
they're done, you may feel you've been overcharged.
You won't feel that way when you assign Crowley & Company to handle
your radio campaign. Why not? (See explanation above in the TV section.)
The
answers are: Yes. Yes. Yes. And No.
As
equally important as creative is the media buy. Are you on the right
station? The right times? Sponsoring the right programs? Are you paying
too much? Crowley & Company will see to it that you get your money's
worth.
