Ahhh ... television. Cable TV allows companies to advertise in their own communities with little or no waste. They can target specific audiences, too - such as men, women, sports fans, educational, health, news and more. Video cameras have come a long way and their clarity in video AND sound allows for exceptional, affordable commercial productions. TV studios now have digital editing equipment which makes piecing together images, graphics and sound a "piece of cake." The cost to produce a TV spot is now within the reach of virtually any legitimate business. So what's the big deal? Someone's gotta write it. Prepare a storyboard. Direct it. Arrange for voice talent or actors. Sit in the editing booth for hours to make sure your 30 second spot is perfect. You could go to one of the freelance videographers, or even the cable company itself. What you'll get is a "safe" spot that looks suspiciously like most everyone else's spot.
